A polygon-loving polyglot, I have been an Academic & Test Prep Tutor for over 10 years.  I received my BA in Comparative Literature from Williams College, where I studied abroad for a year in Spain and became fluent in Spanish.  Prior to that, I attended Brooklyn Technical H.S.

I have extensively tutored HS and middle school students and adults in my own private practice, at boutique tutoring firms in NYC, and at City University of New York.

I love working with students and seeing them reach that “aha” moment when they solve a problem they’d been having trouble with.  Gaining skills leads to gaining confidence, and with more confidence, we could all achieve the things we want in life!

I provide a customizable tutoring plan shaped through known teaching methodologies and enhanced by my own experience and past results. This includes homework assignment, custom data collection and analysis, and the infusion of my own personality in order to help students achieve their best results and to grow on a personal level. I will hold your student accountable, but also encourage them to do their best. I include within my scope comprehension of the material, test-taking strategies, time management skills and organization, and helping your child mature and become more responsible. I am always available for consultation, and like to keep parents in the loop with regards to their child’s progress.
